Welcome to our new website.
Founded just after the last Ice Age, (Ok, Ok, 1969), many of the original, founding, members are still active, and, indeed, competing in various competitions throughout the season. Some, alas, are unable to take part, but can still be found in the spectators area, dispensing knowledge of the game, and offering verbal assistance to some of the players, or anyone else who gets in their way.
Gourock Ladies Curling Club are members of, and host their home matches at the in Greenock, Inverclyde, on the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
From September until March there are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Leagues, as well as various Province and Inter-Club matches, as well as local and not so local tournaments.
There are also the fun competitions, including the Golden Broom, and the Clark Rosebowl.
Gourock Ladies also compete in an annual Curling Weekend Away, most recenly in Stranraer.
New members are always welcome and there are "Come and Try" and "Drop-in" Sessions which are open to all. Check on the News and Fixtures pages for information, coming soon.
